TKDA's Structural Engineering Team Expands with the Addition of Shane Eckman
TKDA is pleased to announce the addition of Shane Eckman to our team as a Senior Structural Engineer in our facilities group. As a seasoned leader, project manager, and structural engineer with over 28 years of experience, Shane has worked on projects in the manufacturing and industrial, higher education, water treatment, and institutional markets across the country.
While his design experience focuses on structural engineering, he has spent the last two decades:
- Leading multi-discipline teams and managing manufacturing and industrial projects
- Performing and overseeing structural design
- Leading departments and offices
- Developing and implementing growth strategies
- Strengthening and expanding client relationships to support success and growth
During his professional career, Shane has led a business development team and worked as a project manager and structural engineer. His business development responsibilities included strategy development and implementation, sales, developing and maintaining client relationships, recruiting and staffing, proposal and fee generation, and aligning organizational objectives. The highlight of Shane’s technical career was managing a multi-discipline facilities design team to support the design and construction of a state-of-the-art water treatment plant to remove PFAS from contaminated water for an international industrial conglomerate.
Shane strongly believes people and relationships are the key to success and strives to build and strengthen teams within the office and with clients and will use his knowledge and experience to help support TKDA on technical and project management opportunities, as well as business development pursuits.
