TKDA Adds Division Sustainability Leader to Team
Chris Hutton, a dual-licensed architect and mechanical engineer, has joined TKDA as a Division Sustainability Leader in our architecture group. He has spent his 14-year career cultivating relationships with government and civic clients, delivering a wide spectrum of projects in the upper Midwest. His project experience includes courthouses, law enforcement centers, public works and maintenance facilities, police and fire stations, libraries, city halls, and county government centers.
Chris is a natural leader bringing enthusiasm and excellent communication skills, along with a robust knowledge of sustainable building design and MEP system integration.
One of his favorite projects he has worked on is the Wright County Government Campus. Chris was involved from the initial sketch of the Justice Center to the final grand opening of the adjacent Government Center – two projects of a combined 410,000 SF and $90M spanning eight years of design and construction. Having been heavily involved in the planning and design and being the head construction administrator for both projects, he made life-long relationships and truly got to experience seeing his designs come to life.
At TKDA, Chris is excited to meet and learn from the talented teams in each division as he helps the firm organize and grow its sustainability portfolio and service offerings to clients.
