TKDA provided engineering design for White Bear Township’s first elevated water storage tank in 1982, a 750,000-gallon single pedestal design located next to the Town’s Civic Center and public works facility. In 1998, TKDA prepared plans and specifications for the replacement of the interior and exterior coatings.
Recently, TKDA again assisted with engineering design for repainting and structural repairs to the Hammond Road Tower. Due to their project backlog, the contractor did not mobilize to the site until mid-August, working long hours and weekends to complete both interior and exterior surfaces before colder weather set in. TKDA staff performed inspections seven days a week to make sure the work was done on time.
